Our Philosophy
The management of the Annai Veilankanni's Educational and Cultural Society, founded by Dr. Devaraj in 1988, has progressed steadily in its pursuit of excellence. We believe the education offered here should enable students to serve the sick with a tender and compassionate heart.
We provide nursing education built on scientific principles and sound educational theory, preparing professionally qualified nurses who give comprehensive nursing care and function as team members across all health care spheres.

Objectives of Educational Programme
The aim of the course is to select students with potential for professional nursing and provide the needed environment and experience.
Develop understanding of biological and behavioral sciences applied in nursing — planning and implementing care for the sick, prevention of disease, health promotion and rehabilitation.
Develop understanding and ability to use communication skills effectively and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
Create understanding of the nurse's individual responsibility as a member of society and the nursing profession, and ability to participate in the changing needs of society.
Develop appreciation and awareness of the need for continuing education for growth and development of self and profession.
Develop understanding of nursing to generate new perspectives and innovative approaches to deal with problems in nursing and the health field.
Equip students with sound theoretical knowledge by integrating behavioral science and biological science subjects.
