Every product, service or idea is different in nature and character.
Majority of the marketing agencies are applying the same theory and strategies to every product/Brand/Service etc

Does it work? Yes it does.
Does it increase sales or engagement? Yes it does

Then what is the problem?🤷‍♀️
Answer lies in the amount of money you spend viz a viz what you achieve?

In the Digital world there is a huge difference when you are selling: 
A face cream of 1200 and a face cream of 200
A car of 50 lacs and a car of 8 lacs
A mobile phone of 1 lakh and a mobile phone of 20k

A 4 crore villa and 85 lacs apartment

This is not a paper advertisement ......

You cannot apply the same strategy in every product/services
Let me tell you a quick story:
A builder in Goa hired a digital marketing agency to advertise for his 4 cr villas. He got hundreds of enquiries every day. He was very happy. He increased his Manpower from 4 to 10 to handle the enquiries. His site visit team was expanded from 2 to 5. His employees will do regular follow-ups with his prospective clients. But no conversions.
At the end of it he was able to sell just 2 villas and that too through his own references.

His manpower cost went up, his allied expenses like traveling, rental went up. Plus the expenses done on digital marketing.

He invested so much overall with virtually no results.

So what happened to all the enquiries???

Digital marketing is not about getting traffic or footfalls. It should always be about revenue and conversions.

You can't sell milk to a dairy owner or villa to someone looking for a flat or a 1 lakh phone to a person with a budget of 20k.
